Afterwork Energy - Decentralised energy storage: challenges and solutions

The HES-SO Valais invites you to the next Afterwork Energy on energy storage.

The decentralised storage of energy and its efficient use are the challenges for the coming years in view of guaranteeing the feed-in of renewable energy and of promoting mobility.

Programme (four 15-minute presentations):

• An efficient solution for direct current storage and distribution
  Speaker: Dominique Roggo, professor HES-SO Valais-Wallis, Industrial Electronics & Drives research group
• Grid to mobility: service station for environment-friendly vehicles
  Speaker: Hubert Girault, professor EPFL, Laboratory of Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry
• Energy storage and management for aeronautics
  Speaker: Sébastien Demont, CEO Demont Technologies
• Power electronics at the core of tomorrow’s energy storage
  Speakers: Simon Delalay and Nicolas Cherix, co-founders of imperix SA
   

The presentation will be given in French.

This event will be held on Thursday, 10 November 2016 at 5 pm in the conference room Zeuzier of the EPFL Valais Wallis (4th floor) at Rue de l’Industrie 17 in Sion (Access).

The presentations will be followed by drinks.
