Human-Centred Computing Group

HUCO is an interdisciplinary research group made up of computer and social scientists. Our focus is on interaction design and improving user experience using qualitative methods such as interviews, focus groups, workshops, observation and fieldwork studies to identify user needs and requirements and to evaluate prototypes in naturalistic settings.

Our focus on Human-Centred Computing includes both cognitive-based and social science approaches to understanding interaction and user experience.
