The three components of the Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Social Work degree programme are Social Work, Social Pedagogy and Community Development. The Social Work degree programme aims to train social workers who are able to promote and ensure social integration, to participate in social change and to contribute to the necessary socio-political adjustments.

This degree programme is backed by the skills of the teaching staff, who divide their time between teaching and research. Based in Sierre, the Social Work degree programme and associated research institute combine their resources to provide the best possible training for future social workers, and offer their skills for the support of the social and health sectors.

This degree programme is taught in French and German.
