The CAS of the HES-SO Valais-Wallis in Cyber Security is scheduled for January 20th 2022

Cyber security is impossible to ignore these days, and in the future it will be increasingly dangerous to underestimate the growing digital threats.

Not long ago, hackers managed to bring one of America's largest pipelines to a halt for several days, causing millions of dollars in damage. Recently, and closer to home, Le Nouvelliste and Netplus were attacked, affecting a large part of their network.

Individuals are not left out. A recent study shows that telecommuting has made it easier for cybercriminals to commit fraud and phishing attacks.

More and more organizations are adapting to the digital world. A growing number of connected household objects are creating new challenges. The world is becoming more interconnected every day, and cybersecurity needs to evolve accordingly. This makes it a field in constant transformation. It is now a subject in its own right, which is constantly developing and becoming a necessary expertise. Similarly, the need for qualified personnel will probably only increase.

In this context, our CAS in Cyber Security, which will start in January 2022, is of strategic importance. It is aimed at all IT professionals who want to be up-to-date with the latest security methods.

This training covers the entire spectrum of IT security in the enterprise, from governance to strategic and operational security, while covering legal aspects. Working on practical exercises from real-life situations, participants leave with real added value thanks to the quality of the speakers from the professional world. Lasting 6 months, the training offers a complete vision of this field which is constantly evolving.
