After Laurent De Martin, it is now Ramon Hunziker’s turn to ride from Crans-Montana to Sion, but on his mountain bike instead of skis. Another original way of showcasing the University of Applied Sciences in the Valais!

The video of the Swiss freerider Laurent De Martin that was published at the beginning of March was a huge success. It has had over a million views and was shared by several media, both in Switzerland and abroad. The short clip was published on the website of the French sports newspaper L’Equipe and used by Presence Switzerland, the federal body responsible for the image of Switzerland abroad. The video, shot with the Swiss agency franz & rené, has quickly become a fantastic advertisement for the HES-SO Valais, the HES-SO, the Valais and Switzerland.

The adventure continues: This time around, it is the professional mountain bike freerider Ramon Hunziker who rides down from Crans-Montana to the School of Engineering of the HES-SO Valais in Sion. He has 20 years’ experience and is one of the few Swiss who participated in the Red Bull Rampage, the world's premier mountain bike freeride event. He currently works with Red Bull on the movie project Ride the Alps.

Those who aim high should choose a university of applied sciences for their studies. With its 41 four-thousanders, the Valais is the ideal place to reach new summits. Against this background, the Communication and Marketing Services of the HES-SO Valais and the PR agency franz & rené made these two videos to illustrate the unique study environment that awaits students in the Valais. It also shows how dynamic and innovative the HES-SO Valais is with its 4 schools, 9 degree programmes, 2,300 students and 7 research institutes.
