SmartBAT

The objective of the SmartBAT project is to develop an open source information system for the energy audit of building fleets. This includes the implementation of common data models and energy performance calculation algorithms.

More specifically, the system allows:

• monitoring the energy consumption of buildings;
• the physical audit of buildings;
• the import and export of collected data to other building energy design tools;
• the simple integration of all types of measuring equipment.

For the Institute of Management Information Technology, the challenge is to consolidate the current development undertaken in the SBAT project by creating an open source platform useful to Valais companies.
