In 2018, the School of Engineering (HEI) launched the HEI Entrepreneurial Programme: a support programme for students, research assistants, staff members and professors who would like to embark on an entrepreneurial project.

The aim of this initiative is to stimulate entrepreneurship within the school and to recognise the best projects and entrepreneurs by providing them with HEI Entrepreneur status as well as access to equipment and infrastructure, access to skills and, in some cases, co-funding.
