The HES-SO Valais-Wallis and the IDIAP organized the 7th Valais/Wallis AI Workshop which took place on November 15th in Martigny.

The theme of the workshop was energy. Several dozens of engineers and researchers active in the field of artificial intelligence were able to exchange on the subject. 

For the HES-SO Valais-Wallis, the interventions were the following:

  1. Professor Dominique Genoud und Jérôme Treboux (Dude-Lab, Institute of Information Systems, HES-SO Valais-Wallis) presented their work on the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence applied to energy.
  2. Professor David Wannier and Jean-Marie Allder (Easilab, Institute of Information Systems, HES-SO Valais-Wallis) presented their work on artificial intelligence applied to electronic mobility.
  3. Professor Pierre Roduit (Institute of Energy and Environment, HES-SO Valais-Wallis) presented his work on the prediction of household electrical flexibility using artificial intelligence.
