D1NAMO project aim to develop a pervasive personal-sensing application for patients with diabetes type 1 that will make use of advanced wearable devices to monitor the physiological data of the patient in order to:
The relevance and significance of this project resides in the definition of a personal health system that will allow medical doctors to have a better understanding and view of the counterregulatory responses of the body with respect to hypoglycaemia, treatment and physical exercises and that will define algorithms for the prediction of the occurrence of hypoglycaemic events in diabetes type 1, thus improving the management of the chronic illness in the short and long period.
