The aim of the project was to: (i) prototype a support application for osteoarthritis patients, (ii) mine a dataset of osteoarthritis patients, focusing on knee, hip pain, and (iii) analyze the trajectories of osteoarthritis patients by detecting high-risk markers.
At the end of the project, we were able to develop a prototype responsive mobile-Web application, based on Flutter/Flask technologies, which integrates standard questionnaires on osteoarthritis, and which would allow users to insert their data relating to pain, mobility, quality of life, etc., which are important for prevention and diagnosis of osteoarthritis. We have carried out an initial analysis of the dataset provided by GLAD Switzerland, which includes results from the Keele STarT MSK, HOOS-12 Hip Survey and KOOS-12 Knee Survey tests.
