After his diploma as Electrical Engineer  at ETHZ in 1990, Dominique Roggo worked on the development of medium power converters for railway applications at ABB Transportation Switzerland. He then took part to the design of power semiconductors testing equipment’s at LEMSYS in Geneva. Between 1999 and 2007 he took an important role in the development of LEM activities in Finland, offering technical support to LEM sensors users. Dominique joined the Power and Control Unit of the University of Applied Science and Arts Western Switzerland Valais in Sion in 2008. His activities there are dedicated to Industrial Electronics teaching and to research in the field of renewable energy and storage integration into the grid. He his currently member of ICE TC 77A, Electromagnetic Compability, Low frequency Phenomena.
