Damien Zufferey wins FNS Scholarship for a one year research stay in Oregon (USA)

Damien Zufferey, assistant in the Applied Intelligent Systems Lab (AISLab) of the Institute of Information Systems, won a Doc.Mobility scholarship from the Swiss National Science Foundation (FNS) to visit the Oregon Health & Science University in USA. During this one-year stay, he will develop machine-learning techniques for analyzing medical data such as laboratory tests or physical examinations, in order to identify patients affected by chronic diseases, such as diabetes and their comorbidities.
