Manfredo Atzori organized a H2020 networking session at ICT 2015

To bring together researchers from the European Union, Manfredo Atzori from IIG organized a networking session on learning healthcare systems at ICT 2015 in Lisbon. Learning healthcare systems can be defined as systems composed of common electronic health records, shared databases and big data analysis systems to perform multimodal clinical data analysis

This networking session involved more than 40 participants from academic research, companies and healthcare providers that could present their work activity, opportunity and ideas in the field of medical big-data analysis. As demonstrated also by their importance in H2020 calls, big-data represents a strong research opportunity in the medical field.
