Carte de prototypage FPGA

cofFpga

The HES-SO Valais has developed a concept for inter-compatible electronic boards that can be used for research and educational purposes.

They can be used to create prototypes (control circuits for devices, measurement devices, etc.) at lower cost and more quickly.

One of these boards – the main board containing the FPGA circuit – has recently been redesigned. The FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is a Spartan 3E with 4 MB flash memory and 16 MB of RAM that can be used to develop processor systems, for instance with a LEON processor and an AMBA bus, the typical configuration of space systems.

The mezzanine connectors and the extension connectors are compatible with the other boards of the HES-SO Valais. Two RS232 ports, one USB 2.0 port and one Ethernet 10-100 Mpbs port offer various connection options. The card can be powered with a standard cylindrical connector, the USB connector or the Ethernet connector (POE standard).
