Energy Forum - March
Concept
The Energy Forum Valais/Wallis is a platform for discussion and exchange on energy issues. It offers the population and representatives of the political, administrative, economic and scientific world opportunities to exchange opinions and network.

Silicon Valais - September
The concept
Silicon Valais is an annual event that can be summarised in a few points:
- Presentation of the Bachelor's work of the students of the HES-SO Valais-Wallis Business Information Technology degree programme.
- ICT Valais-Wallis awards ceremony.
- Networking with IT companies and start-ups.
- Meeting between alumni (all holders of a diploma/bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology who have completed their training at the HES-SO Valais Wallis, or at the HEVs, or at the ESIS).
- Conferences and demonstrations of the latest technologies
Why should you take part?
Several advantages:
- Logo in the various press releases : posters, flyer, website and social networks
- Mention of your company in the various mailings (over 1'000 alumni + students)
- Mention of your company in the registration forms
- Logo in the introduction and at the end of the conferences
- Participation in the aperitif dinner
And last but not least...
Through this event, we wish to enhance the value of the training and create strong and lasting links with professionals. This event has already fostered numerous meetings between students, researchers, entrepreneurs, professors and professionals in the sector.

Sustainability Week - September
Edition 2024: from Monday 16 to Friday 20 September
Concept
This week is built around a wide variety of activities to offer a great immersion to the students of the Tourism degree programme: courses, workshops, conferences, and even public events are offered. This is simply to deepen the aspects of sustainability and responsible management and also to decipher the new trends in sustainable tourism.
Edition of 2023 : a full week of sustainability (video in French)
Does your company or association have a positive impact on its ecosystem, be it social, environmental or economic? This would be an opportunity to present your know-how or your projects from a sustainable development perspective. The week ends with a public conference you could also attend : «Towards regenarative tourism».

** Long Night of Careers (careers night ) ** - November
The concept
The Long Night of Careers is a career night organised by the Careers Centres of various Swiss universities of applied sciences and a few other universities (www.lnoc.ch). This event gives bachelor's, master's and PhD students the opportunity to spend an entire evening thinking about their professional futures. It is an opportunity to gather ideas, meet professionals in an informal setting, network and hone job hunting skills in a fun and enjoyable space.
There is a varied, interactive programme, including workshops on employment-related topics and professional activities, speed mentoring, information stands, a pitching challenge and more. The event is usually held in November.

Why should you take part?
- You will be supporting future graduates in planning their careers and building their professional networks.
- You will have the opportunity to network with students and other attendees such as mentors and professors.
- You can get to know a diverse group of students, each of whom has a unique skill set and personality.
And last but not least...
Approximately 150 students, alumnae, alumni, mentors and experts gather each year for the Long Night of Careers since 2019.

Mentoring sessions between professionals and students. - November to April -
The concept
A minimum of 3 meetings is organized by the Career Design Center between a mentor (professional) and one or more students from the HES-SO Valais-Wallis. This is an opportunity for the professional to pass on their knowledge and experience to a student starting out in the professional world. At the same time, students can benefit from flexible, personalized support from professionals to help them make the leap into the professional world.
Why should you take part?
- Supporting future graduates in their career planning, initiating their professional network, and/or advising them in their professional endeavors
- Presentation of your company and its environment, with a focus on values, corporate culture and real-life situations.
