Jean-Christophe Loubier and Diego Rojas participated to the 22nd International Congress on Modelling and Simulation (MODSIM2017) that was held at The Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, Tasmania, Australia from Sunday 3 to Friday 8 December 2017.

They presented their paper "Analytical Hierarchy Process coupled with GIS for land
 management purposes: A decision-making application
"  ( http://mssanz.org.au/modsim2017/K7/rojas.pdf ) in the section Evaluating the incorporation of science and other forms of knowledge in decision making and practice. This session aimed to highlight the use and adoption of science and other forms of knowledge in decision making and in practice. Case studies and examples from all disciplines (e.g. health, defence, environment) that demonstrate and measure the incorporation of science and/or other forms of knowledge in decision making and in practice were presented. It also highlighted the problematic of participatory approaches.
