Dr. Zhan Liu received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from University of Lausanne (HEC, Lausanne) in 2014. He is presently working as a researcher at the institute of Information Systems in University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO Valais/Wallis), Sierre, Switzerland since 2011. His research interests include semantic web, information privacy, security management,  information modelling, and mobile technology. He has published articles in academic journals, book chapters and conferences. He has also guided bachelor and master thesis in the area of linked data based knowledge management, information classification and semantic web visualization.
