How to apply

Students wishing to apply for a student exchange programme at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis must first be selected by their home institution.

Following your nomination, the International Office MOVE will contact you for further details.

Application deadlines:

  • May 15th for the autumn semester (September to February)
  • November 15th for the spring semester (February to July)

 

Language requirements

Please note that our teaching languages are French and/or German for all degree courses. Our Tourism degree is available in English as well.

Students who want to study, do a traineeship or write a final thesis at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis and are not French or German native speakers have to attach a proof of their language skills to their application documents:

  • Copy of official diploma or certificate of language proficiency, level B2 (French or German)
  • Tourism studies (only), level B2 (English : recommended C1)

 

The HES-SO Valais-Wallis reserves the right to test your language skills by means of a phone interview.
