Extrait

In order to build a compact autonomous microfluidic system to measure arsenic in drinking water we have designed an opto-electro-mechanical system (20x11x20cm3) around a microfluidic system containing living cells as sensor, which collects water from the environment, senses it and communicates with some remote computer, all with its own energy and data processing.
