Jean-Daniel Marcuard received a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, in 1983. He teaches various subjects including "Automatic Control", "Automation", "Mechatronics" and "Safety" at bachelor and master levels.
