Being close to our industries and having many academic partners, a new study plan with a stronger focus on practice, business cases, and project based learning has been put in place. This involves a curriculum that encourages creativity and innovation, inviting students to develop their interpersonal skills to prepare them for the professional world.
It was also important for us to incorporate sustainability training into the new curriculum. A majority of the research carried out on the Energypolis campus is centred on this theme because it is undeniably the most important one at the moment. A solid base is created in the first year with a course dedicated to sustainability in the life sciences and is implemented throughout the student's studies with the incorporation of this notion in all existing courses, practicals and projects.
