Entrepreneurship and Management
Line Pillet is professor in systems thinking and sustainable team leadership at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO). She is director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Management (IEM) at HES-SO Valais-Wallis since September 2019. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Geneva with a specialization in Philosophy of Management (CAS) from the University of Fribourg. She brings over 20 years of experience successfully leading complex multi-stakeholder HR and learning & development projects for multicultural and diverse workforce (top executives, managers, team leaders, technicians, apprentices, students, young graduates) in various sectors (hospitality, arts & crafts, industry, services, not-for-profit) driven by one passion: empower and engage people to lead change. Certifications: PMP® Project Management Professional, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, Belbin Accredited Consultant.
Line Pillet main research interest are team leadership and collective dynamics of complex systems.
Together with her academic activities, she is also very involved in economic networks as a founding member of the Swiss Cercle of Women Administrators and president of the Association of Women SME leaders in Western Switzerland, a dynamic, inspiring and growing network of 450 members committed to positive and sustainable change.
