The GeomobileConvergence project aims to develop a computer prototype for consultation support in the context of a collaborative land-use planning process based on the massive use of territorial virtual models.

This is an important tool for territorial development projects in the Alps (e. g. the problem of second homes) and will allow all the stakeholders in territorial projects to be part of decisions-making processes and to interact  with complex 3D visualization tools in an easy way.

The GISLAB is responsible for:

  • Spatial analyses.
  • Territorial matrices for decision-making processes.
  • 3D modelling of the results.
  • Participative approache development with all the stakeholders of the territorial project.
  • General project management.

As part of this project, the DUDE Lab of the Institute of Information Systems is responsible for:

  • Develop mobile embedded collaborative features and the data infrastructure needed.
  • Machine learning  of collaborative territorial matrices and its calculation.
  • Machine learning and selection of virtual models and its calculation.
