The Forum Virtuel CADFEM & Ansys 2021 was held online this year. It was a joint Forum for CADFEM France and CADFEM Switzerland. During the Virtual Forum, registrants discovered the latest advances in simulation, with presentations by speakers from the industry, over several afternoons.
During the forum, two prizes were awarded between Switzerland and France. Jean Decaix, scientific assistant at the HES-SO Valais Wallis, is the winner of the best presentation for Switzerland. Jean works as a senior scientist with a focus on numerical simulation in hydraulic turbines. He presented the study "Analysis of premature fatigue of a Francis turbine wheel by fluid-structure simulation". More details can be found at this link.
