School of Health Sciences

The School of Health Sciences offers two degree programmes: Nursing Science and Physiotherapy.

The Nursing Science degree programme is run in Sion (for the French-speaking course) and Visp (for the German-speaking course). It prepares its students for a career in preventive health, health maintenance and/or treatment and rehabilitation. The emphasis of the Physiotherapy degree programme at Leukerbad is on movement and mobility.

By alternating periods of theoretical education and practical training within the profession, the degree programmes optimally prepare students for the caring professions.
